Stephen W. Butler ("Steve") has been in private practice in Rogers, Arkansas for over 25 years and is currently senior partner in the transactional section of Keith Miller, Butler, Schneider & Pawlik, PLLC. Steve focuses his practice on both business and individual tax return preparation, short and long term tax planning, asset protection and estate planning, and business formation and commercial law. After growing up in North Little Rock, Steve received a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Arkansas in 1987 and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1988. After earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas in May 1990, Steve was admitted to the Arkansas bar in 1990 and the Missouri bar in 2010.
Steve was previously named to the 2005 Arkansas Business Journal 40 under 40, and the 2005 Northwest Arkansas Business Journal 40 under 40. As a member of many professional advisory boards, Steve supports the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, and Open Avenues.
As a long standing citizen of Arkansas and graduate of the University of Arkansas, Steve loves to cheer on the Razorbacks. In addition to being a member of Cross Church, he is a proud parent, with his wife of more than 20 years, of two highly achieved children. Steve loves to spend his free time with his family or watching a baseball game.
